District Policies

 

The Arizona School Boards Association website houses the Morristown School District policies. 

Our Governing Board

The individuals on our school board are elected community members who volunteer their time for the benefit of our school district and the students who attend our schools. They assist the district in planning, budgeting, and implementing school programs and help ensure fiscal responsibility.

Please Join Us

We welcome public attendance at our regular board meetings. State law does allow board members to meet in closed executive sessions to discuss personnel, legal, and negotiation matters; however, we are required to conduct all board actions and voting in public session. 

Please submit items you wish to have the board consider in writing, signed and dated, by the Monday before the regular monthly board meeting. The board president has the discretion as to whether or not to include the item on the agenda, place it on a future agenda, or answer the party's questions from existing policy and not place it on the agenda.

We normally hold our meetings in the school library at 5:30 p.m. on the second Monday of the month, unless that Monday is a holiday or falls after a holiday. Please check the school calendar for the exact dates and times.
